8 TIPS TO SMOOTHER, FRESHER AND GLOWING SKIN.

Ladies I do not believe anyone is ugly, I just believe we need a little maintenance or if you like help to maintain what we have.

So here are eight tips to help you skin glow.

 1. Water
One of the most important things you can do for smooth and glowing skin is drink plenty of water. Your aim should be to drink 8 to 10 glasses of water a day. Water helps the body flush out toxins and waste. However, avoid sugary drinks, alcohol and carbonated drinks. try to eat fruits and vegetables that are high in water content.

2. Slather on the sunscreen.
We know you've heard it a million times, but wearing sunscreen is the single easiest way to look younger for life. "Ninety percent of wrinkles are from sun exposure. don't stop not even during rainy seasons or winter months either, when rays are just as strong and can reflect off of buildings and sidewalks. Look for a formula that offers broad-spectrum protection to guard against UVA rays (the ones that cause premature aging) and UVB rays (one of the main causes of skin cancer).

3.Wash your face twice a day with a soap free cleanser.
It is important to remove oil and dirt from your skin. Also, remove make up before going to bed. If you sleep with make up on, your skin is more likely to breakout and become dull. Most of us are too lazy or sleepy to use a make up remover before bed and then wash the face. Face wipe is the easiest way to cleanse your skin. That means you don’t have to use a make up remover if you use wipes. If washing your face is over-drying the skin, you can use gram flour mixed with water.

4.Exfoliate
If you really want smooth skin, get rid of the dead, flaky skin on the surface.
Regular exfoliation speeds up the cell turnover process, allowing the body to produce moisture-bearing properties like hyaluronic acid. Exfoliation also helps to plump the skin by churning up elastin and collagen production. Too much exfoliation can be overkill, though. Just once a week is enough

5.Moisturise
Use a moisturiser daily to maintain the skin’s moisture content. Even more special care should be taken in winters, harmartan etc. the skin tends to become dry fast because of the cold. So you should massage your body twice or thrice a day with moisturiser during these seasons.

6.Lemon Juice
Lemon juice can be used to cleanse your skin, lighten spots and scars, as well as soften and smooth it.
This citrus-rich fruit contains cleansing enzymes that remove dead skin cells, leaving your skin smoother and fresher. With its excellent astringent properties, lemon is a great natural cleanser for people who have oily skin.

7.Clean your makeup brushes.
A British study found that 72% of women never wash their brushes or sponges, even though they harbor dirt and bacteria which can cause breakouts. "You should wash loose powder brushes every two to three weeks, and those used to apply foundation once a week," says Jessica Wu, an LA-based dermatologist and author of Feed Your Face. Mix a couple of drops of gentle facial cleanser or shampoo and lukewarm water in a cup, swish your brushes around, rinse with lukewarm water, pat dry, and lay flat to air dry.

8.Stay out of hot water.
A steamy shower may feel great, but it's one of the worst things you can do for your skin. Not only does the heat strip essential oils, but it creates a mild burn. Blood vessels respond by dilating in an effort to cool the skin, causing flushing and ruddiness. "When you're in your twenties, you can take a hot shower, be red & swollen and recover in an hour, but in your thirties, it may take 2 hours,"
